In honour of Valentine’s Day, today’s ‘Top Three Tuesday’ is dedicated a the trifecta of fictional bad boys:
3. Dylan Massett (Bates Motel)
While not nearly as ‘bad’ as his half-brother, Norman Bates, Max Thieriot’s Dylan is undeniably a bad boy. Clad in a leather jacket, this rebel (with a cause) grows and sells drugs, smokes, and is extremely handy with both his fists and a handgun. However, in the words of Taylor Swift, he’s “got that James Dean, day dream, look in [his] eye…”
2. Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter)
With cool, almost Hitchcock-esque blonde looks (and shades of James Marsters’ Spike from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series), Tom Felton’s Draco Malfoy is a snotty, entitled piece of work. He earns place on the list for his combination of ‘poor little rich boy’ cool and an acidic tongue.
1. J.D. (Heathers)
He might be an oldie, but J.D.’s murderously 90’s ‘man in black’ allure never truly goes out of style. Played with aplomb by Christian Slater in his finest 90’s heartthrob form, it’s not hard to see why Veronica Sawyer fall hook, line, and sinker for the brooding new guy stalking the halls of Westerburg High School.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
